SenSage Names Joan Varrone Chief Financial Officer Accomplished Finance Veteran to Support Expansion of SenSage’s Business San Francisco, Calif. – July 19, 2006 – SenSage, Inc., the leading provider of scalable log management solutions, today announced that Joan Varrone has joined SenSage as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Varrone most recently served as CFO at Optiva, Inc., a South San Francisco-based nanotechnology developer where she streamlined financial controls, managed a $20 million funding round and led the successful sale of the company in 2005. “I’m pleased to welcome Joan to the SenSage executive team,” said Jim Pflaging, president and CEO of SenSage. “Joan brings SenSage a wealth of experience and a track record of significant financial management accomplishment, ranging from large venture financings to successful IPO filings.” SenSage has seen significant demand for its scalable log management and security analytics software.
